Basic/Intermediate Tight Line Nymphing Lessons --- Sunday July 21
9am-4pm
Info: The class first starts with learning the basics of tighline: rod function and rod selection followed by rigging techniques, knots, and line set up. Learn the different methods of tightline and their applications to different waters, the importance of fly selection and weight, and how to CAST and FISH a tightline set up. Classes are held along the Deerfield River with "on the water" instruction. All tightline gear and equipment is included. A basic understanding of fly fishing skills will definitely improve your ability to grasp this technique.
You will need a valid MA fishing license.

Kids Learn to Fly Fish --- Saturday July 20th
9am-4pm
Info: For Ages 13-17. The class will learn the basics of fly rod and reel design and rigging, simple knot tying techniques, the advantages to specific tools and gadgets. They will be able to distinguish between the different types of flies and fly fishing techniques. Classes will be held on the Deerfield River, where the class will spend the second half of the day learning how to wade, and cast a fly rod. All equipment including rods, reels, and waders included.
You will need a valid MA fishing license.
